102nd Report in 2013: The Selection of Qinba Mountain Area as the Center of Poverty Alleviation through S&T and Relative Suggestions

Abstract: Qinba Mountain Area refers to the most provinces in the new round of poverty alleviation project and it is also the demonstration zone of poverty alleviation through S&T which leaded by the MOST. This paper analyses the background of the selection of Qinba Mountain Area as the center of poverty alleviation through S&T. It also proposes some policy suggestions for the role of S&T in recent poverty alleviation activity.
