46th Report in 2013: The Development of Seed Industry in America and Its Revelation to China

Abstract: America has the biggest seed market in the world. In the early development of the seed industry, America developed the line organization and built the legal system to create a good market environment. After the industry entered the new stage, the American government gradually retreated from some scientific areas and guided the enterprises as the scientific research subjects. Recently, with the development of biotechnology, American seed industry develops a new trend that the seed enterprises have been merging by biochemical enterprises. This report studies the experience of the development of American seed industry and gives suggestions on the development of China's seed industry.
