31st Research Report in 2013: Suggestions on Strengthening the Function of Science, Technology and Innovation during the Infrastructure Construction of Urbanization

Abstract: Urbanization is an unavoidable stage in China's economic and social development. There must be a number of infrastructure construction work during the urbanization progress. The application of modern science, technology and innovation achievements in urbanization construction in very important to improve the infrastructure onstruction level. According to the current situation, this paper suggests to strengthen the organization and coordination among different departments and the formulation and application of related policies. It also suggests to integrate S&T resource and S&T achievements and conduct the pilot demonstration of new type of urbanization which supported by S&T.
